With a background in psychology, education, and counselling, Rachael Cotra has over 10 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. She specializes in addressing ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, neurodivergence, and emotional regulation, providing personalized and compassionate care to help clients navigate life’s challenges.
Her approach is tailored, collaborative, and evidence-based, drawing on modalities such as Mindfulness, Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, CBT, ACT, and Nature-Based Therapy. With a strong foundation in education and mental health, Rachael brings a holistic, strengths-focused lens to her work.
She also has training in Forest Therapy and Wilderness Adventure Therapy, which supports her nature-based therapeutic practice. And as a Climate Aware Practitioner and member of Psychology for a Safe Climate, Rachael is committed to supporting individuals navigating climate-related distress, eco-anxiety, and environmental grief. She holds a registration with the Australian Counselling Association.
